The valiant lord steered the ships to Lista past Agder east from Nesjar. The kin of hersar fell; an army was in the land; settlements burned before the ruler.

Context: In the summer of 1138, Sigurðr and Magnús inn blindi returned to Norway from Denmark. They sailed along the southern coast of Norway to Lista, where they attacked and killed Benteinn Kolbeinsson.
