text and translation

The new edition is either unpublished or unavailable. The following is taken from an old edition (Skj where relevant):

Veðk sem mjǫll í milli,
mart's eimyrkligt, heima;
springr jǫrð, þvíat þangat
Þór enn kveðk svá fóru;
breitt's und brún at líta
bjargálfi mér sjálfum,
heldr skek ek hvarma skjǫldu;
harmr stríðr er ek fer víða,
harmr stríðr er ek fer víða.
