Nam ek að heyra
ór Hléseyju
hvé þar af stríðum
strengir mæltu,
bað ek ambáttir
búnar verða,
vilda ek fylkis
fjörvi bjarga;
létum fljóta
far lund yfir
unz ek alla sák
