En er komið var degi þá sofnaði konungur og dreymdi hann hinn helga Ólaf konung föður sinn og mælti við hann: «Ertu mjög hugsjúkur og óttafullur er Vindur fara móti þér með her mikinn? Ekki skaltu hræðast heiðingja þótt þeir séu margir saman. Eg mun fylgja þér í orustu þessi. Ráðið þér þá til bardaga við Vindur er þér heyrið lúður minn.» En er konungur vaknaði þá segir hann draum sinn. Tók þá lýsa af degi. Þá heyrði allt fólk í loft upp klukkuhljóð og kenndu Magnúss konungsmenn, þeir er verið höfðu í Niðarósi, svo þótti sem Glöð væri hringt. Þá klukku hafði Ólafur konungur gefið til Klemenskirkju í Kaupangi.
