Ilmar slíkt um allan hólmann,
Ormr byskup veldr þeiri forman,
beiðiz hann með bjǫrtum kvæðum
byskups heiðr at víða reiðiz;
verðr Guðmundur efri jǫrðu
elsku Baldr ef þyrma valdi,
drottinn efli hann mildr ok máttugr
