1) rum med ildsted/arne (særskilt bygning el. rum bygget sammen med gårdens øvrige rum), gårdens beboelsesafdeling (for ophold, spisning, søvn) ‖ room with a fireplace/hearth (a separate building or a room integrated in the other farm buildings), the farm’s principal living quarters (for sitting, eating, sleeping)
2) (spec. om gildesal/gæstehus, cf. Falk 1911 [MM 1910], 68 ‖ spec. of a feast hall)
3) køkkenhus/køkken (særskilt bygning el. rum forskelligt fra ‘skáli’ og ‘stofa’) ‖ kitchen (a separate building or a room distinguished from ‘skáli’ and ‘stofa’)
